Celebrating five years of the midwest founders community

Five years ago, Midwest Founders Community was created to bring founders together around something every entrepreneur needs: community, support, and connection. 

Since then, MFC has grown into a network of thousands of founders, entrepreneurs, and aspiring founders supporting each other through every stage of the startup journey. From first ideas to major milestones, MFC has been there for countless moments along the way. 

On August 6, 2026, we’re celebrating MFC’s 5th birthday with a birthday bash highlighting the growth of Midwest Founders Community, and how the group has helped founders start, grow and scale their businesses.. 

As part of the celebration, we’re asking founders to share the milestones, successes, and moments that MFC played a role in. Maybe it was a connection that led to a new opportunity, advice that helped you move forward, a collaborator you met through the community, or a major company win you achieved while being part of MFC.

Not only this, but we want to celebrate the wins that have happened in the last five years across the Midwest. The Midwest has become a hub for some of the country’s incredibly successful startups, and we’re proud to not only influence this change, but watch it happen in real time. 

No story is too big or too small. Every milestone helps tell the story of what this community has become over the last five years.
